since i have nothing to do right now

as the title suggests, i'm going to talk about anime(again). this time it's about my favourite animes that i have watched. 1st off, my current favourite : school rumble!!! this anime, is damn funny!!! i have never laughed so much while watching an anime. the anime is about harima, a delinquent who met a girl, tenma, while she was attacked by someone. since then, harima fell madly in love with tenma and went to study at the school where tenma studies. the whole anime is basically about harima trying to get tenma but usually ends up failing miserably. tenma likes another boy from his class, karasuma. there's a lot of misunderstandings between harima and tenma, one of them is the misunderstanding of the relationship between tenma's sister, yakumo and harima. later in the anime, eri(tenma's friend) was mistakenly confessed by harima on the street. eri was touched, and since then eri's feelings towards harima slowly develops. there's still a lot to talk about, but if i continue i wouldn't stop!!! watch the anime if you're interested. currently the 1st season has 26 episodes, and the 2nd season is going to air in japan on april 3rd, 2006. the manga is still going on too, currently at chapter 171 as of the date this is written.

well, that's all for school rumble. now the 2nd favourite anime that i have watched. it's titled azumanga daioh, and it's style is almost similar to school rumble, except love is not an important factor in this anime. this anime is about the friendship of ten-year-old genius Chiyo, animal-loving Sakaki, loudmouth Tomo, athletic Kagura, weight-conscious Yumi and dim-witted Osaka. With scary (and sometimes perverted) teachers, school festivals, penguin suits and general hilarity abounding, you can be sure that there's never a dull day in the life of one of these students! the animation is smooth, like school rumble, the characters are nicely drawn, and the voice acting of all the characters are superb. i truly recommend this if you've already love school rumble but haven't seen this yet.
