It was a rumour and apple had denied that an iPod-based phone was being developed. That was around 5 months ago. Now it's official. Apple iPhone is officially released and it looks very very familiar...(zune?) okay this is the official specs for the phone:

all i gotta say is... WOW. two types are available, a 4GB and 8GB version. 4GB retailing at USD499 and the other at USD599 and both are releasing around april or may. can't say it's worth it yet, but i just GOTTA own it someday. don't know why, just gotta.
