my brain is starting to rot from the overwhelming time spent in front of my computer screen. the overdosage of anime is creating side effects to my personality. i used to enjoy playing PS2 for hours and hours. now, i yawn after booting a disc. i even(purposely) slept when i'm playing a football game. thinking of selling my PS2 right now. planning to buy an iPod. but damn, nano's RM900+. the 2 gig model, i think.

it's been a while since i talked about anime, too. ok, eureka seven. i absolutely love this anime. the animation is silky smooth, but it's not the animation that attracts me. it's the romance and the storyline. eureka seven is about a boy named Renton Thurston, who lived with his mechanic grandfather in a backwater town that he hates. everyday he dreamed of being with the mercenary "Light Finding Operation" or LFO aircraft pilot group "Gekkostate" and riding "Trapar" particle waves(a sport called "Reffing") with their charismatic leader Holland, especially when faced with his father's acclaimed past or his grandfather's desire to protect him. when a young girl named Eureka riding the original LFO, the "Nirvash typeZERO", asks his grandfather for a tune-up, she inadvertently brings the attention of the military to the garage. as a result, the garage is destroyed and Renton is forced to deliver a new type of interface, the "Amita Drive" to the Nirvash. this resulted the Seven Swells Phenomenon, which was last seen in the Summer of Love, the last time the "Amita Drive" was activated. the phenomenon wiped out the military at the scene in an instant. after the incident, Renton was requested by Holland and Eureka to join the "Gekkostate". Renton gladly accepted, but unknowing to him the dangers that lies ahead. with Eureka by his side, can he save the world from total destruction? watch the anime to find out!!!
