Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate

after two days with Vista Ultimate, i am shocked. it was a headache way back in beta 2, but the RTM(release to mass) version is virtually bug free. and it's still cool. the transparent thingy. my advice is to UPGRADE NOW everyone! though you'd need a pretty high spec machine, but it'll be worth it!

Minimum Specs for Vista Ultimate:
1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor(not even close to enough, my bet is get a core duo before you upgrade. my 3.0GHZ core solo is barely enough)

1 GB of system memory(2GB if possible, 1GB is enough though)

40 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space(100GB at least. for me.)

Support for DirectX 9 graphics with:
* WDDM Driver
* 128 MB of graphics memory (minimum)
* Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware
* 32 bits per pixel

Recommended GFX cards(for me):
G-force 7600 GT and above
ATI X1600 and above
Don't believe in those high memory and low priced GFX cards. they're just for display and the important thing for GFX cards is CLOCK SPEEDS.
