~.~

my connection's a bastard. 100kb/s on BT, 0.2kb/s on http. it took over half an hour just to get to this create a post place. FUCK to streamyx and TMNet(thank goodness for that godlike speed on BT though XD).

watched the omen on wednesday night. this movie is full of red, literally. the clothes, the curtains, the wallpaper. all red. most of the time i would say "wah, red again" until someone behind me SHHHs me. lol. to be honest, it's not very good. the main flaw of this movie is that it's too damn predictable. when you know exactly when that crazy lady's gonna jump on to that guy's back and when you know exactly what is going to happen in the ending, you know something's not right. that's exactly what i mean. this movie tries too hard to be a horror flick, in the end becomes a laughing stock(for me lah). personally i'm not scared about the 06.06.06 stuff(heck i didn't even know it until the day before it!). some christians are scared the hell out of it. i see no point in being scared about a day where the numbers on the date are a bunch of sixes. i'm sorry for being rude about this but to my christian friends, this is ridiculous. (please don't flame me!!!)

better buy the pirated dvd than go watch

just now i watched a movie that is a complete opposite of the omen in terms of "interestingness"(i don't know any other word that i can use to describe what i want to say, forgive me lah and correct me). it's called Shinobi which means heart under the sword in japanese. the movie is a spinoff from the popular PS2 game under the same title. you have to believe me with this one. shinobi is one of the best japanese movies i have ever watched. the fight scenes are jaw-droppingly awesome and the actors and actresses do their job superbly. here's a brief overview of the movie:

Shinobi centers on the drama resulting from the war between two ninja clans in the early part of the Tokugawa era. In the film, Nakama Yukie portrays Oboro(Lily), the respected Iga clan matriarch, while Odagiri Jo plays Gennosuke, the son of Danjo Koga(Minoru Terada), the powerful Koga clan leader. While living deep within the mountains, two ninja clans have honed their skills to superhuman levels. Unfortuantely, the clans do not get along and are forbidden by imperial decree from sharing their techniques with each other. Viewing the two ninja clans as a threat to his scheme for total domination, the nefarious Nankobo Tenkai(Ishibashi Renji) plots to intensify the rivalry between the two clans.

it's a great movie and i totally recommend it if you are looking for a japanese movie to watch. here's the front cover of the VCD i bought(ori of course, pirated hard to find):
